Classic car collection is an art. One needs acute skills to see and identify the vintage cars, modals and other mechanics of the car. There are many world famous collectors of such cars. The reason they are famous because they are rich and buy these cars not to use but to drive in leisure and display that they are a proud owner of some vintage car, which is cool! Another skill is to keep an eye on different markets where such cars are available. The best places can be festivals, or gallery.
Internet is the first thing that comes in everyone’s mind when one wants to buy a vintage car. There are a number of websites online where you can see the wide range of classic cars for sale like Mini, Lamborghini Miura, Morgan Aero 8, and Ford Bronco. Most of the sites provide features like advance search options to filter the search results to focus on the cars and nothing else. These websites give you a detail of classic car you want to buy for example the year when the car was made or the history, the place of the current owner and the postal code.
Now the would-be owner can make up his mind and decide which one of the classic cars he wants according to his pocket. Some websites display pictures of the classic cars to be sold with their price tags with the intention to attract and create more market and show the potential buyers that the car is as perfect as its sounds like!
While finding a classic car for sale is tough, the websites which provides similar services are helpful. One should understand the various features that they support. Like a few good sites provides discriminating minute differences between vintage cars. They clearly display the details of each car along with the manufacturer’s and the original buyers’ details. But still, a good content becomes better as soon as it is being updated frequently. So, just observe those last updated dates or recent changes in such websites.
For me collecting vintage cars is a passion and finding a classic car which is perfect and sellable is like an adventure no matter what method should I use during my search! It’s something like a life-long dream car for you and as soon as you discover it you are ready to pay any price to materialize it!

Now-a-days eBay car auction is preferred by everyone, the reason is that these auctions are able to trade out a car in every 10 seconds and accessories are sold with the frequency of one per second. And every month more than 10 million bargain hunters go online visit eBay car auction site and plan to purchase cars or its accessories.
In eBay car auctions the person who is able to sell the stuff acquires pretty good profits or commission on the sale. For example, if you simply sell 1 to 2 cars on eBay motors every month, you will surely be able to make a handsome profit.
I would like to share my personal experience to source for the cars to sale off on eBay car auctions.
Target Car Dealers
There are so many car dealers who are still not aware of eBay site. Although they spend huge money in marketing & advertising through Television, radio, car magazines etc. Still, people are too non-technical to actually spend time and energy to understand the syntaxes of a portal like eBay. So, here’s the market gap for you. You may approach such dealers, understand or create their interest in eBay and provide another selling service to them. Do a little selling for selling the product and get paid as commission on each car sold! Remember with just 1 or 2 percent commission on the sale can provide you all pockets full of dollars.
Start flipping “The Classifiedsâ€
The age old method to sell any product is to create visibility. The best and cheapest (and fastest) is to place a small ad in the classified of local newspaper. Just keep an eye on such Ads and especially those follow-up ads. Those are the ones who are not able to get a good deal for their vehicle. Just go and help them, find a good buyer for them on eBay and get paid! You may convince them with the proposal of being paid as a commission agent.
Well, for me the above two methods have worked, they are not tough, but one should understand to do ‘initiative marketing’. This concept is in approaching the client and providing them a solution to their problem, as in a case where you are able to give them a service to get a good deal for their car! Another thing to remember is with big car dealers where they are able to sell more then 100 cars in a day from just one showroom. These people may not provide you or may not wait for your sale to happen, so make sure you already have buyers in your buffer to win each one’s confidence!
